Welcome to the results thread for the 2008 MAP Awards. Unfortunately anyone remotely famous is either trying to dance, in a jungle somewhere or thinking of ridiculous names for their offspring so you have to make do with me instead. I don't know what to make of these awards. Some categories were severely lacking in nominations while others had some brilliant ones. One thing is for certain though - you all will have some say during the planning for next year's awards (just so you can't blame me :Angel: ). Anyhoo, on with the results! You should all have your shiny awards soon. Martial Dad and koyo should now both have all of the goodies of a Supporting Member as well as their awards for being our "Best MAP'ers of 2008" There is one thing left to do, and that is to give out a final award. As everyone will be aware, this time last year MAPer "medi" passed away. There we go, all awards given out and the two supporting memberships set up I've also revealed the results in all of the polls so you can see how close some of them were Congrats again to all winners (apart from Sarge, who nearly beat me! )

Nope, I know what the plans are for MAP next year (I wrote them ) and I know that I'll be asking more people for their opinions on things to improve the site. I also know that there's at least one new thing going into the Supporters area between now and the new year
I bet you all really just sit around discussing knitting patterns and such like! Actually, I've been toying with the idea of joining for a while, I might actually have to do something about it now!
