I have read that the Floyd fight is "slipping away" from Khan and he wants to now pursue a fight with Manny. Manny is rumored to be either fight Ruslan Provodnikov, or Tim Bradley... then I just saw the below article. Maidana has no obligation to give Broner a rematch. If defeating Khan will make him happy and boost his confidence, he should. Especially if the money he'd get from either fight is about the same. I'd be surprised if Khan would take the fight though, a fighter like Maidana bringing his A game is like a nightmare to Khan.
There was supposedly no rematch clause, but Broner exercised it last week. I don't know if Maidana is obligated to give an immediate rematch, or if he would be able to fight khan (assuming he would take the fight) and then Broner at a later date. I wonder if Broner's jaw will have healed by then lol. He looked pretty disfigured when he left the ring after that fight.
