    I need help

Played a LOTR game recently but cant remember the title and thinking about buying it.

It was very similar to Command and Conquer with missions and skirmishes etc although the graphics were much better. It seemed to be a recent game.

Any ideas and/or links to jog my memory

    Thanks in advance

Battle for middle earth is the newest one - the one where you have pre-set base locations.

Hi guys right I bought the game but its not installing

Rather than starting an error message pops up and says something along the lines of "Go to control panel to install and set system components" or something similar.

Does anyone have any ideas what to do??

Am a caveman when it comes to things like this

What's the exact error message it comes out with?

Make sure your graphics drivers, directx etc are up to date.

Some system specs would be useful too, mainly graphics card/operating system.

The message says "Go to control panel to install and configure system components".

The specs not the problem as I checked this before purchase.

I have a funny feeling that its my fault. I cancelled the download halfway through then performed a defrag and disk clean up. Next time I put the disc in I got the above message

Go through and reinstall your drivers - graphics card, sound card, etc.
