Hello, I'm looking for a book on cheap and dirty fighting, some book titles don't always perfectly describe the contents so I figured if I was going to find the best book for dirty fighting I'd have to ask you guys o_o"...

This is the right place for this thread right?

Depends what you mean by dirty fighting.

If you want to learn something genuinely useful for self defence then do a search and you'll find lots of recomendations. Geoff Thompson's 3 Second Fighter and Dead Or Alive are both good starting points.

Which Dead or Alive (There are a bunch) and who's the author of Cheap & Dirty? I can't seem to find them. :|

Nvm on the Dead or Alive one, found it.

Which would you recommend as I can only get one for now, Dead or Alive, or Three Second Fighter? (They're the same price and one is twice as big so...)

Then get Dead or Alive, it has much more in it.

I have a range of good self defence books listed on my Practical Karate website. I think Mitch's book recommendation is a good one though.

Another big endorsement for "Dead or Alive" by Geoff from me!

However, you can also buy "Streetwise" by his partner in crime Peter Consterdine which is equally good (and actually better IMO). Both are excellent instructor/fighters/authors and you cannot go wrong with anything by them

I have both in hard copy and on my Kindle
