I'll be travelling to the medieval fair at Lanark this weekend, would an one have any further info as to whether there will be any WMA events or displays on there.

    Hi Mano Mano...

Don't think so, mainly re-enactment 'battles' I think....

"Be transported back in time to the days of the Roman Legions, the marauding Vikings and the medieval battles of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. Meet the 15th century mercenaries, the Marquis of Montrose and his men, and the Napoleonic soldiers back from the wars".

If you're free Sunday pop over to the Palace of Arts in Glasgow 3-5 and you can try out some medieval german longsword for free.

Thanks for the replies; I was hoping to see some practical WMA.
I don’t mind re-enactments on an entertainment level for a family day out although I do tend to find a lot of re-enactors a little bit on the weird side of life.
Pola Bear thanks for the invite unfortunately I’ll only be up there on the Saturday.
