Everyone feels like that at blue belt. I remember blue belt, and I hated it. Maek Chigi, Maek Chagai, Joon Muhk Maga Ki Bohn Soo - the most stupid technique sets in existence.
I'd have to say I definitly felt my most awkward around bluebelt level as well. I really disliked Joo Muhk Maga Ki Bohn Soo at the time. The whole set felt wierd.
your techs and form must be pretty good to have got you gold medals in the tournament especially as blue belt usually have a lot of competitors. i got nothing at my blue belt tournament. mind you, you have an excellent instructor in KJN john ives, i couldn't tire of watching him perform. he is awesom!
