There are actually two in indiana. Mine is a club through Purdue University. The other is in Richmond. We will be training over the summer. My instructor probably wouldn't have a problem with a visitor. I'll check with him if you want to visit sometime.
Hello Kuk Sool Won Martial Artists Hello. I am new to this, so just wanted to say hello. Moved back to northern California from Houston, Texas last January. Hope to start training again soon, but have to get employed and settled :-( Hope to hear from you all, Tom Cleveland JKN
Checking in here too. Hoosier by birth, Boilermaker by the grace of God, but I got to Texas as fast as I could.
Whoohoo, a UKer! I knew we'd get one eventually. Hey, if you're a KSN, I think that makes you the highest-ranking KSW person on the forum. Cool. Just please don't make me do pushups, I get enough of that from the black belts on this side of the Atlantic
the group is growing! Ha Ha! the army of Kuk Soolers is slowly growing on MAP! Maybe sometime in the not to distant future we'll get a forum all our own!
where do you train? don't worry we were all blue belts once. it's a nice colour to be, the form gets better and the techniques get more interesting
Does, or did anyone feel akward around Blue Belt? I'm on my way to getting Red, but just feel like I could be better, or do the techniques better. Forms too. dunno, I hear everyone goes through it.
I train in Norwich at the moment and in response to jv i sometimes feel my techniqe is not as good as it could be and that my techniqes could be better but other than that im ok you should enter soem tounaments if there near you i went into the eauopean one this year and won a few golds, it helps you see how good you are for your belt.
