I've heard that kuk sool won trains the whole LAPD is that true

 

Nope that is false. LAPD has an advisory board made up of different martial artists, lawyers, and doctors, that has set forth their cirriculum in the field of defensive tactics. KSW may be one of many other arts that they have taken some material relevant to their DT cirriculum.

 

Seems to me they practice their stick work mostly.
