I have been on a mission and it doesn't seem to be going to well. That is to find martial arts periodicles that are worth reading. I think it's pointless to point out the uselessness of Black Belt and a few others. The few decent ones I've found are Classical Fighting (used to be Dragon Times), Journal of Asian Martial Arts, and Masters of Karate. I'm still undecided on Budo.

Anybody else out there reading something worth the time? Let me know.

I subscribe to 'Traditional Karate' distributed by Temple Publishing, but I think these guys are based in the UK - it's pretty pricey to subscribe from outside the UK, and I wouldn't say it was worth it unless you can find a US distributor. Check out www.martialartsinprint.com for more details

Depending on what you're looking for, I find TK reasonably worth while. Most of the articles are interesting (some of them are even informative ;) ). The book reviews are useful. The calendar is obvioulsly aimed at the UK.

    The Bugeisha suggestion is good!

Also, I hear that Terry O'neil is starting up his "Fighting Arts International" again.
