I'm Jule, 22, been doing Judo for about a year and have a gokyu ranking. Located in Massachusets, USA.
I do a style invented by my teacher called Shorindokai Karate, which incorperates the throws from Judo, so I guess I'm a Judo practicioner.
I'm Liam and have been doing Judo for around 6 years now. I am currently 1 Kyu having obtained it in Febuary. I study Judo in Cambridge, England. I also have 10 points towards my black belt which i gained with a Sumi-gaeshi at the last grading. It was the best throw i have done in competitive Judo.

Hi there, I've been here for a while already but I never checked in so.. I've practised judo for about 10 years, I'm officially still a blue belt.. I'm not really interested about what color is around my waist, so I stopped taking exams when I changed to a more advanced class. I haven't been training for the past couple of years, but I'm planning on starting again in september(or maybe I'll start in JJJ, haven't decided yet ) Cheers
Hi, I've been taking Judo for a month and a half, finally got past the breakfalls, though my teacher told me they just practice breakfalls in Judo for at least six months in Japan . I enjoy Judo greatly (not just for self defense), and cant wait till I go to class tonight. I rank in White Belt.
I'm Pat and I'm a Judo newbie. I've finally found an MA style that my wife likes, so she's taking lessons with me. It's cool to finally have an at home training partner. :love: I've taken a bit of Kenpo, Muay Thai, and Wing Chun years ago. I'm happy to be training in the MA's again.
Judo Check In... Just started Judo since my previous art was taking its toll on my knees... I am a newbie and I quess a white belt...no Gi much less a belt to wear yet.
I dont think He'll practice any throws the first time, but the first time I went we did back to back.
I thought it might be disrespectfull/asking for trouble to turn up to my first Judo lesson in a B/B JJJ Gi. IT is OK though the instructor has a bag full of old Gi's for beginners. Now find the lessons don't start until September after the holidays. What do you do in a typical Judo lesson? and should I move this from this thread?
