Next tourneys - I think the AMA have the nationals in July and the next worlds are Switzerland next year.
It's all black belt...come to a squad session and have some fun. Try the Facebook page 'England sport jujitsu squad' or pm me
Well, until devolution kicks in I expect we'd not hold that against you. Although you might overheat if you train down south Seriously, we are reasonably relaxed about that - I don't think there would be any problem coming to a session well in advance of a championship; WCJJO rules are a tiny sport and we are keen to grow it
it looks like a good method of light sparring and the focus on resistance and striking and grappling mean that it may be good for MMA or basic self defence . Tell me, do they allow knee / elbow/ headbutt strikes?
No knees elnows or headbutts - although some of the guys went over to Poland last year and I think there were knees in that comp. It is as you say a good sparring structure
Next squad session is on Sunday 11th May 12-3 in Stoke-on-Trent If you are over 17 and have enough sparring experience to look after yourself (light contact and grappling) and fancy trying this ruleset then PM me for details
Come to think of it the first time I sparred with you I got a dead leg from knees in a semi-contact tournament......
Putting my chemistry hat on for just one second. Let's say there was something that you wanted to make disappear Let us call it element X, or Y or Z etc........................................................ You would need to devise something that would create some kind of bond to whatever it was you wanted to make disappear. when that happens, it is now whatever the 1 thing was, bonded to the other 1 thing. It is now 2 things, but it is also 1 depending on the distance that you are making the observation from. Perhaps if you observed all of the things, everyone single iota of energy. You could work out which ones they were looking for. Once they're bonded, they'll continue on their merry way. But in order to understand that you would need to understand the Hard/Soft theory of Acids/Bases. I don't know if you know what that is.
