Here ya go Mitch. Jethro Tull is a decent lil band fronted by Ian Anderson. Never thought a flute would hold court to rock-n-roll excepting in those special songs like Knights in White Satin, but Ian brings this instrument to full fruition. Some of the songs that stand out to me are: Skating away on the thin ice of a new day, and Bungle in the Jungle.
Now these guys I've seen on every tour from Broadsword and the Beast to the present day, several times on most tours. Probably my second favorite band of all time after Zeppelin. Some favorite songs Skating Away (On The Thin Ice Of A New Day) Locomotive Breath With You There To Help Me Dr Bogenbroom Jump Start Someday The Sun Won't Shine For You Underwraps (intramental verion from a Little Lite Music) The Whistler (intramental version from the cigar box set) and of course Aqualung!
They've all varied quite a bit but they've all been good shows. They are one of the few bands who I think sound better live than they do in the studio. Of course they're getting up their now and are a bit mellower and less active on stage but they were just wild the first few times I saw them. If you're really interested in them you should check out the Isle Of Wright DVD or even the Slip Stream movie which is mostly concert footage.

I love jethro tull, they're my farthers favourite band, and one of my favourites. thick as a brick and aqualung hell yeh
I went to see them last year, they played just about every track off Aqualung. I was impressed with their energy, especially with Ian Anderson still leaping about on one leg. He should know better at his age The audience however had less energy
