Checkout any local tire dealers/stores especially ones who deal in heavy equipment or agricultural tires, I bet you can get one for free or at the very least it should be cheap as it would be a tire taken out of service.

Tonight empty hand hyung four times each, I couldn't finish. I think it's because I didn't eat properly today. It was still a good workout, I just burnt out 3/4 through.

If you go back and look at my DIY equipment you'll see a iron 6" pipe about 5' long. I have cut two holes in it big enough to put my hands in, I welded a 3/4 inch steel pipe cross ways inside so I can lift the pipe. What I do is grab hold of the pipe as it is on the ground and do push-ups. My theory is that because it is not stable I get a better work out as I have to keep the pipe from rolling back and forth as I'm doing the push-ups.

    This Too LOL!

    Tonight training:

Oh yea I got a new toy! A smaller tractor tire, one I can lift, probably 200 pounds.

    *Small tire dead lift:
    3x10
1x7 Tweaked my back right away, damn!
    *Small tire flip
    1x10
    Iron pipe Press
    1x3
    Cantilevered sit-ups
    3x10
    3x10
*Iron Pipe push-ups feet elevated on small tire:
    3x10
    3x10
*Big tire lift (trying to flip it):
1x3 got it up about 1" (I estimate that tire at about 500lbs)
    Iron pipe push-ups
    3x10
    *Slosh pipe Squats
    3x10
    2x10
    * Iron pipe bench press (laying on big tire, very off balance and hard to do)
    1x10
    * Small tire sled:
This is cool, I put a couple lifting straps around the small tire and pulled it about 50 feet.
    10 laps

    *denote new exercises.

Good workout about 45 min. my back is sore, but I think it will be ok. :)

Try some pilates exercises or anything that focuses on the core. I found that these done lightly and increasing the resistance to them coupled with some stretching does help bring your (at least my) back into active duty.

Thanks yea I'm almost there, I've been using my foam roller and stretching. I can do BW squats with no pain. Going to relax some and keep rolling and stretching. Next week I'll work out a couple times, after the new year it's back to full on training. I've got a ham string and back injury to be mindful of but I've got goals to meet as well. I'll try some pilates in the mean time and see how that goes. Thanks again for your support.

Got some new toy's from Santa. I had to try them out despite my back hurting.

Didn't keep track of reps but at least 1x10 of each:

kettle bell swings 20lb each side
kettle bell clean & press 20lb each side
laying on floor press 20lb each side
sit ups with kettle bell 10lb
V ups with kettle bell 10lb
    push ups with kettle bell

    Bar bell
    Dead lifts 110lb
overhead to behind head press 30lbs

Went good my back was complaining, but today it felt better. :)

That felt good to be back to doing some training!

Today empty hand hyung 4 times each, low stances, fast hands, kicks were low. Wore a back brace today to help me through. Ice right now on my lower back. About 45 minute work out but still had plenty of gas in my tank, need to take it easy until my back is better. Everyday it's gets a little better. :)

Today did Aerobic on treadmill, 20 minutes.

    5 min warm up
15 min of 45 sec all out, and 45 sec walk, went well, I was able to go all out with no pain from back & hamstring...Yippe! :)

Cronometer today, low day, I also inputted my exercise into it, interesting result, however I've never counted off my calories burnt into my eating, so for me it doesn't count toward my zig-zag.
