As always you're a consummate gentleman , to be fair we tend to tag each other quite regularly , but actual full power hitting stuff is rarer . To be honest i think my job (mechanic) tends to help with hitting things.
Yeah but being hit lightly by Bassai is like having a car drive into you. That was one of my many learning points from John's seminar at your club.
I am also very tempted to try shotokan again, i kind of loved it when i was younger, kyokushin is harder because the sparring most of the time is full contact. I rather do something semi contact like shotokan. Shotokan is a lot more strict on forms, and my old school would fail you if the kata was not preformed with proper posture, rythm and intensity. In kyokushin you are not allowed to punch to the face, but the conditoning is really hard, if i compare both styles, kyokusin is the hardest karate even. Where you do so many bodyweight squats, push ups and sit ups and lot more. I do not think that with my injuries and i am not as young as i used to be, my body could not handle that intense training anymore. I rather switch to shotokan, which will work my posture, and give me lots of the benefits of kyokushin without kill me off in the same time.
Cool. Does that mean anyone else has to put: - insert name hits like a pathetic girlie. Or we could do each other a favour, I'll go first. Llamageddon hold the hammer of Thor in his right cross.
