What can I say? I'm a song download junkie. I can get the great songs of yesteryear and not have to purchase the whole damn album. Now I can get Luney Tunes on Podcast. Whoops! I need a bigger iPod. For many years I couldn't really see the value, that is until I bought one. Anyhoo, I'm looking for podcasts about almost anything. However the brain to hand to google switch is on the glitch, and I'm not getting the kind of hits I'd like.
Yep, it's quality all this downloading. Just hop on over to isoh.....er I mean torre.....itunes.com and it's all there waiting for me. Recently I've been listening to "Old Cape Cod". Never been there though! And also lots of SuperTramp!
Yeah! Tonight I got Oingo Boingo Dead Mans Party and Weird Science, and all of Friend or Foe by Adam Ant. It's an 80's thing what can I say.
No matter how old I am I'm right behind you in years. Come to think of it I'm behind the ol' man too.
I too am addicted to iTunes. I keep finding cool stuff from weird places- like Canada. Currently, I am digging The Tragically Hip.
Canada has some great music, hummmm, come to think of it I'm missing some Rush. *rushes off to buy more music*
My room is cleaned and approved by the SGT Major, the peas were just being finished when a clown made me laugh and they came out my nose, and if the house is a barn then yes I was.
How apropos that I'm listening to Temple of Sirinx right now. Time to go digging into iTunes again and find a lil gem.
Plug it into the USB port. Course you need the program to load the music and other goodies. Which one did ya get? There is a new 4 gig with video I'm wanting, but don't really need, but I want all the same.
Spi- video MP3 Player i plugged it in like it says but it has zzzzzz going from the player to the co,puter on the mp3 screen
Haha, I was thinking that too. Nordic, have a look for a band called Fozzy, songs like Livewire, Lazarus, and Stand Up and Shout in particular. Guitar work is damn good. Not quite on a par with Rush though...
Speaking of Rush, a couple of months past Guitar Player did a cover article on Alex Lifeson, and this month has a special edition devoted to Rush. DAMN!!! These guys have filled my soul with music for most of my life. I'll check'em out and give a listen.
They've filled most of my life too. Seeing them this year was one of the most amazing times of my life. Anyone up for a "Rush Rule" thread?
