    There are probably more than two schools of thought in a single JKD class let alone JKD as a whole. :)
    From a person seeking to free himself from a classical mess Bruce sure did create a whole new type of mess.

    You know what I meant. I was trying to explain there are two main branches of JKD. Original JKD and JKD Concepts. The latter is the heavy FMA influence.

    I’m going to stick up for Emil Martirossian, based on first-hand experience (not YouTube!). I’ve seen Emil in action and experienced his training.

    Let’s start with the negative stuff. Emil’s writing leaves something to be desired. He’s not going to win a Pulitzer Prize anytime soon.

    However, he’s a talented and hardworking martial artist and a good instructor.
