Ever considered, that there are people, who *want* the other drugs?

Your thoughts are irrelevant - the actual evidence suggests otherwise

I wouldn't buy any of that crap at all - assuming I did want to the difference in effect between the various narcotics is so wide that I would ONLY pick the one that gave me the effect I desire.

You are literally saying "why would I buy whiskey when i can buy beer?"

It will remain the same or gets more expensive as it gets taxed and their are profits to be made by governement

Coming over here, with their French names for cooked meats, and pointy helmets........

The thing is the Norman's were very clever at war, indeed militarily, the Norman's wisdom was unbeatable......

No it wouldn't remain the same. Read up on prohibition sometime. it drove the price of booze way up. When dealers have to be compensated for the risk they're takin that's what happens. legalization drove the price down. In countries like Iran where alcohol is banned the price is jacked.

Prices honestly would not change - look at what has happened in the US initially it rose, then it became cheaper and as soon as it becomes profitable taxes creep in and so does cost

Bootleg liquor is still cheaper than legal

...and as soon as you tax it you will create a black market for bootleggers.

This is why I'm surprised they're making home grow legal here. Restricting stills to licensed users makes sense with spirits because of the safety risks and hence you can justify charging more. It's difficult to charge too much when people can make it easily and safely at home.
