Historic jiujitsu film footage from 1912

    This is probably some of the earliest film footage of Japanese martial arts. The first section shows a demonstration of formal techniques and the second half is a spectacular self defense/stunt fight demo.

    Interesting. I was convinced until I saw the hojo jutsu at the end that I was watching judo. Looking at the techniques and the way they are performed it is still tough to distinguish which it is. Well, either way, it is a great video. The thing I loved the most? The old style Western music with the villain theme!
