    Circuits

    5 rounds/ 10 reps each of

    Kettlebell swing 24kg
    Push-up
    Sit-up
    Goblet squat 24kg

    Followed by

    50x jodan tsuki (head punch)
    50x chudan tsuki ( mid-level punch)
    50x mawashigeri (round house) 25 each leg
    50x Mae Geri (front kick)
    50x uraken, uraken (back first with lead hand, then back fist with non-lead)

    Mixed Morning Workout

    60 x KB swing 24kg
    60 x chudan tsuki ( mid-level punch)
    60x jodan tsuki (head punch)
    30x mawashigeri (round house) 15 each leg
    30x Mae Geri (front kick)) 15 each leg
    30x Mawashi Empi (round elbow)

    Chinto Kata

    Evening Karate Class

    Usual Kihon type warmup

    Kata Practice - Naihanchi, Seishan

    sparring practice with basic attack & evade

    10x 10 push-ups (alternating regular & seiken)

    5mins leg raises (30s work/ 30s rest)

    Bit pushed for time so quickly did the above between after work and eating out

    Morning sprints

    Tabata 20s work / 10s rest for 3k

    My lungs felt they were going to burst!

    Evening BJJ

    Basic drilling and defence
    Takedown practice
    Hard rolling for 20mins

    Going to sleep well tonight!!

    Morning Yoga
    Feeling a bit broken today and was nice for a bit of recovery.

    Lunch
    Private BJJ session (comp in a few weeks do putting a bit more time into it)
    Concentrating on passing guards technique and defence passing guard.

    Afternoon until the early hours
    Helping building redecorate kitchen, building units etc.

    Yesterday was spent building more kitchen stuff so no extra workout

    Morning run

    Evening workout (missed BJJ due to work - gutted)

    5 rounds of:

    10x 24kg Kettlebell swing
    10x push-up
    10x sit-up
    10x squat (bodyweight)
    10x 16kg kettlebell snatch (right)
    10x 16kg kettlebell snatch (left)

    30s rest I between rounds spent in a stretch (forward bend, reverse tabletop, plank, leg raise hold)

    Felt gassed but performance seemed fine, comp coming up in a couple of weeks so trying to loose a bit of weight & don't quite feel 100% strong..

    100x hammer fist / tetsui

    60x roundhouse / mawashigeri (30 each leg)
    50x front kick / maegeri (25 each)
    50x hook kick / uramawashigeri (25 each)
    50x side kick / sokoto (25 each)

    Evening

    Traditional Jujitsu

    Grading coming up soon so spent time on the syllabus.
    Also ran through applications of arm bars standing,in clinch & grappling..

    comp training still, tried a few sneaky/flash moves for fun and ballsed them all up or gave away positions - so will be going back to basics for the comp I think..
