Help a noob understand JKD Concepts

    well like I said the founder of akido and judo formed there own method which I read in Jessie glovers book.

    It wasn't but it was one in the first in recent times to look at the BLEND of the arts - the personal prescription if you will

    don't think you can answer this question without mentioning ;
    centreline theory,
    the importance of a resolutely anti-dogmatic approach to independant thinking
    a willingness for your ideas to evolve

    Which is trite, fluffy and ultimately unhelpful

    It's easy to say "the punch that hits before you see it" but that is almost entirely attribute based...so why do people insist on making it a definitive when it categorically isn't?
