I'll agree with this. My Karate wasn't quite pressured enough until I started regularly hitting an MMA gym. Toughest guys to go up against were the boxers. They're trained to hit, hard, accurate and fast whilst minimising the risk to themselves. They control space and distance well, don't gas out very easily and can take ludicrous amounts of punishment.

My training has benefited (and continues to benefit) from training in classes and sparring with guys that train for heavy competition.

And don't even get me started with being absolutely picked apart by solid BJJ guys.

I sincerely hope you've got something very special, E. Seriously, it had better dwarf the discovery of using a rock to hit another guy over the head with.

I don't think it will be too bad, i mean, if his form is as practical as some kata, there isn't much we can say, granted, i don't think the critique will lie at the form's feet, in as much as it will at the technique used to perform it.

Master E how goes the training? If you don't mind could you answer a few questions? How often do you train, how long is a session and what does a session consist of? Do you do a cardio warmup? Do you spar? How much time is split between meditation and forms? How about bagwork, mitt work etc does your style use this? Are there a lot of calisthenics in your training?

Don't mean to interrogate, just curious as I know next to nothing about your style. I'm thinking it's tranquil meditation and forms it could be this [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VLex3JVbCTs[/ame]

And with that amanekaii fades into obscurity, a faint memory, a distant recollection, until finally, it is nothing.

It might exist, but as far as the internet is concerned, it only exists here, and it looks like we've declared it dead.

If something "only exists" for the "sake of existing", then we may as well call it Qi

Aside from the videos, that should have been interesting, I was so hoping, that he actually might react to his "fact", that his broken leg healed within a week.
My arm needed roughly 3 months and the doc was rather satisfied on how well that worked out in that short time.
But I see the difference: It was my *arm* not the leg and it was broken twice... so maybe it's allowed to take a little longer...

More serious: I thought it was interesting, how he ignored everything about his miraculously healed leg.
