When I used to be a 'National Standard' athlete, it was a lot lower than that.

I have noticed it starting to creep up over the years. :(

    About 60 bpm for me.

What's considered healthy? Anyone have a chart for this stuff?

I always thought it was 72 - but that's only what I've been told.

    Okay, another question then ;)

When do you take your resting heart rate?
I think I've heard it's just after you wake up, but I could be wrong. I only did it now when I was sitting in front of the computer

^over half an hour after any physical exertion is fine, its not necessary to take it 1st thing in the morning, the difference would be fractional.
    Mines 57
