I think Sensei Perry was going off for a while, so he wanted it done.
People can wait months for their belts though...
(I hope to be going for it next year.)

Waited one week exactly to find out my grading results

..and had the luck of getting my filled out licence back the week after. :)
But of course with coloured belts it does go alot quicker.

Yeah, wondering if I should ask one the admins to give us a seperate seiki-juku forum as it seems this thread gets used as the meeting and chatting place for all members of seiki juku karate.

Do you see different forums for ITF and WTF TKD, or different styles of Kung Fu, or Wado/Goju/Shotokan? Nope.

I dont think theres much chance of getting a separate forum for your style guys.

hey mate, was just an idea

Hey Anth, it was just an idea as this thread seems to be growing with every seiki juku response. Its true, none of the other styles have different forums among their styles of TKD etc. so shouldn't ask for it. Just an idea that keeps floating in my head. :D :D

In case you havent noticed, I have changed the title of the thread slightly (after speaking to Christian). It has changed from "Have you heard of my style?" to "Have you heard of Seiki-Juku?"

It might make even more people from your style say "ah! Thats about my style!" rather than "Whats that? Someone else making their own style?" and decide to say hello :)

What times are the High Wycombe classes?
Also, does anybody know Maidenhead's training times?

Well - I'm knackered after 2 hours class.
We spent a wee while doing "kumite kata", which is fun, and rounded off with Bo kata ichi and ni.
Unfortunately, I've been to the gym every morning this week (mainly building up the legs on an exercise bike), and I ran out of steam in the class.
Still only my 5th session back in training, so I'm reasonably pleased.

I just had a one hour class with sensei Carol. It was pretty good..went through the basics for our grading end of next week. I'm going for purple so essentials for me where the third Taikyoko kata and the ago tsuki strike. Luckily went through that as well so I think I'm pretty much prepared to grade.:) Still a bit exhausted after every class but not surprising considering I missed nearly four weeks of real training....but because of my exercises in the morning slowly regaining that fitness as well.
