Woah. Couture, I train here: http://www.southcoastmartialarts.com/Programs.htm (BJJ) This is my instructor: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJShp67wcYY"]Attacking Guard Sweeps (1/2) - YouTube[/ame] http://www.joemoreira.tv/bio.htm http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=126 (Summary: 37 years in BJJ, 7th Dan BJJ, Pro MMA Fighter) I also live in Orange County, CA...which is considered a REALLY expensive area. Do you know what I pay for unlimited classes? $135 a month. No sign up fee. No contracts. Now, I didn't post this to create a "Wow, my instructor/school is really cool" response...but to give you some perspective regarding what you should and shouldn't pay for Martial Arts lessons. Before you sign up, ask your instructor how many years they've been studying Kempo, and how many years they've been teaching. For $255 a month, they had BETTER be more impressive than a 7th Dan in BJJ and Pro MMA fighter with 37 years in their system. Just some food for thought.
Good point. You can train at the Team Quest training center in Temecula, CA for $160/month for unlimited classes. What's more every trainer there is a pro fighter, and the place is owned by Dan Henderson (He holds the middle weight and light heavy weight titles in Pride). Randy Coture does seminars there on a regular basis (Randy regularly lives in Oregon) and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, an impressive up and comming competitor in Pride is a regular instructor there. World class fighters and the people on the cutting edge of innovation in the martial arts and they're charging HALF what USSD is for unlimted access. Does someting not seem wrong with this situation?
Thats pretty high for a 1st or second degree! :Alien: Even for a third degree thats still too high. I wonder if the board of directors were high when they came up with thoses prices?
Private with groups classes more than likely and all for the crappy price of $215 a month to learn how to get your a.s.s. kicked/
Correction...Dan Henderson is only the MW title holder. He lost his title in the UFC to Rampage. Pride is a memory. ::bows head in a moment of silence for Pride FC.::
Let's be honest. Nothing anyone here could have said would have changed your mind. God help you, dear little otaku.
