Sorry I missed this, but a big belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you both, gentlemen.

 

Of all the good wishes the one from my internet dad is the best.
He left me and mum in the lurch all those years ago.
But I know he loves me even if he does forget my birthday.

 

I was a year old when he left. Never remembered mine except for once or twice.

But now that I'm a dad and I stick with mine through the worst of it, it eats him up.

Being a good father is the best revenge.

I consider ap oweyn to be my internet dad and was commenting on his birthday wishes (with a comedy back story about leaving me and mum).
Ap's advice is so spot on and he's so measured in what he says I'd like him to be my second dad. His kids are lucky.
