I'll be 26 this month. I started practicing Shotokan in a very small club in Beaumont just over a year ago. Currently 6th kyu (green), would be 5th if it wasn't for evacuation for Rita as well as a rib injury due to sparring. I'll test for 5th early in April. I'm looking forward to participating in my first tournaments later this year in Houston and New Orleans. And Karateka here from the Houston dojo training under Sensei Deddy Mansyur?
