I think that this has been around for the while but just came across it myself. Great speed and technique, difficult to see what the guy could've done to avoid it! Asides from not getting in the ring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql74_MlCl9s&feature=player_embedded#at=21
Embedding is not possible for some reason Nice kick, but the guy who caught looked poop scared from the get go!
It's a nice kick too. Well balanced, fluid and he landed on his feet completion. So often you see flashy TKD kicks that get a KO but also end up with the kicker on his ****.
I agree. I always think when that happens, "What would they do if they'd missed (whilst on their ****)?"
Me too! It's a wonder it took TKD people so long to cotton on to the benefit of ground fighting considering how often they end up on the deck.
Ha ha! Found another cool KO! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqyRV23X3B4&feature=relmfu"]YouTube - Delayed Reaction Karate Fatality‏[/ame]
First video is awesome stuff. Reinforces the no.1 rule for kickboxing **DON'T STAND STILL WHEN A KICK GETS CHAMBERED** @OP: KO'd guy's mistake was dropping his guard unnecessarily for the fake kick and being stationary. Should have kept both hands up and committed to the leg guard (lifting lead leg) after he lifted that leg - by hesitating and then dropping the hand he set himself up for the KO. It was a sweet, sweet execution from the other guy though. I'd not like to go against him.
You probably only get one chance in a fight to pull off a kick like that...and boy did he pull it off!!! I see what you mean about the other guy dropping his guard now. Mind you as a previous poster pointed out there was definitely a bit of your proverbial 'rabbit' & 'headlights' going on with him!
