Got Asked to Judge an MMA Event

Super late notice. Give the judging responsibility to the guy with anxiety LOL. Anyway, here's hoping for all finishes and no decisions.

 

Have you be given any guidence about scoring systems?

 

Nah, but I know the criteria. So far I've scored one draw and that's it.

 

Was interesting. Surprising amount of people I talked to disagreed with judges

 

Did they have any valid points?

 

Not that I recall. Just disagreed. Didn't bring anything up. Just thought he lost.

So I'm referring to one fight in particular. This obvious roided up dude fought this obviously natty guy. Roid head done the classic win first round and gas, followed by getting picked apart fairly handily in the second. In the third Natty Bro was winning the first minute with some strikes. Then Roid Man got a takedown and side control. ADVANCED POSITION TO CRUCIFIX and landed some punches. He also finished in that position.

End of the round I called it 2-1 RoidBoy. Got some argument.
