Considering what has occured in the US in regards to the "I can't breath" movement. Probably not a good idea, since people in the UK tend to confuse what's happening here and what is happening over there.
Well that's what I was thinking. If the guy had went unconcious straight away rather than a police officer restraining him it wouldn't have ma such huge news as they might have actually put him unconcious and cuffed him. Then managed to give him medical attention sooner. Wire is much harder to resist, easier to apply and as soon as they go unconscious you release the wire, cuff them. They wake up, you tell them they are under arrest and read them their rights. @Mascarenhas Nah, I meant like a single wire, but made of rubber rather than steel. Like a skipping rope but shorter.
Which reminds me - Man with 'superhuman strength' filmed pinning two police officers to .. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxzV1lpEbEw[/ame] Grappling = superhuman strength.
1st time I seen the footage properly. Didnt realise one was a WPC. She didn't help her colleague one bit.
Only realised now this thread isn't called "Carrots for police." Wondered why there was no mention of orange vegetables...
