I dunno if any of you peeps use hand held consoles. But this one looks as if it could revolutionize games. it has a touch screen! can you imagine a fighting game where you can actually move your fighters limbs? or a racing game where you turn the wheel? or a version of GTA where you can ********** ok I won't post that idea. in short, it will have 2 screens and a d pad + 4 buttons and a touch screen. I reckon it could be amazing. However. I also thought that the virtua boy would be amazing....
Yeah, The nephew is ready for me to get him one. It looks like everybody is going to be upgrading soon. GameBoy DS Sony PSP Playstation 3 and Xbox 2 http://www.i4u.com/article1068.html
nah, psp is better. it actually has visible controls. only innovative thing about ds is the dual screens, which is kind of, and i stress KIND OF, neat.
Let's solve this with math PSP = Much $$$ spent Much $$$ spent = Much money you don't have Money you do not have = saddness saddness = increased chance of suicide PSP = Machine that takes your money and then kills you DS: Touch screen = inovative Inovative = Fun Fun = Happy person Happy person = More likely to give to needy children DS = Machine that feeds the mouth of helpless babies. Next equation. E=MC^2
whenever nintendo has some new innovation, the games for that innovation seem to lose gameplay in favor of novelty uses. if the DS doesnt do that, it will be cool
Some DS info for ya. Info, games list, pix, quicktime tech demos, all here http://www.nintendo.com/e3_2004/ds/index.jsp Hands on at E3 http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/05/11/news_6097113.html
Even though Nintendo has not always had success with its innovations, *Looks over at his Virtual Boy* there success with innovations more then makes up for it. The three things that come to my mind are rumble effects, control sticks, and console-to-console connectivity. I feel very comfortable in saying that the Nintendo DS will not disappoint. With a price point rumored at $180, it is gonna have a lot of good selling points over the $300+ PSP.
