When im training for pre-emption the set up and positionig is a very important part, because that allows me to set up a more powerful strike from the start,leading with power rathar than throwing out say a jab to set up the strike. one of the big differences being in say boxing the guy already knows youre going to fight him so that would take a different stratagy,If you never agree to a fight or let the guy know your going to hit him you will always have a certain element of suprise.trying to stay calm and not show any anger until to attack and theres always a possibility of using a question or keep talking and approach them naturally.
