I have worked in a chinese restaraunt for almost a year. But gladly I'm quitting. I was wondering what your favorite type of chinese food is. Yes this is a stupid question, but mongolian beef sounds pretty damn good right now.
Why would I eat that crap and risk getting some freaky bird flu. Anyway, I'm vegetarian. I first thought you had written Human pork instead of Hunan

There's a place here in Toonie that serves 'Grandma Bean Curd' which is a dish of soycurd with mince and chilli plus vegies in a mash-a-mix. My ex said it was what she ate at the Bejing WuShu Acad. Tis the BESTORZ. The place is Yam's Happie Inn... BEST CHINESE IN SYDNEY.
I'm pretty boring on Chinese food, as I generally go either for sweet and sour pork or lemon chicken (though plum chicken is even better  ). When I went around south east Asia, I think I mainly had rice. A whole lot of rice. Though there was that one time in the Muslim quarter of Xian - not quite sure what the various names for this would be: Some of us felt a little ill the next day, but that was probably due to us not cooking it properly (there was a hot pot in the middle of the table, so up to us to cook it, not the chef ).
One of the places near us makes a crispy shredded beef dish that is fantassssssstic, especially when you get it xtra, xtra, xtra hot.
Seeing slip on the thread has reminded me of another classic, stinky tofu, only because we discussed it in chat one day, he isn't in the least bit stinky.
