I hope he will be successful. It's one thing to be angry (even though childish in that case; I would have thought the most important thing would have been, that the kids came out of this cave alive!); it might even be one thing to go to name calling (even more childish and makes him look a dork, but okay) - but calling someone a child molester is an absolute No-Go. This might never leave the diver. When the church had (once again) all the molesting problems some years ago, I was an altar server, preparing the little ones and teaching them. When they started wiggling during mess, I would just place my hand on their knees or hands, so they notice: "Okay, a little calmer". I did this for a few years. But during that episode, I sat in one mass thinking: Hopefully I won't get into trouble for that! I shook it off later, as the parents knew me an all. Why do I mention this? That was during a time, when priests were once again in trouble (to put it slightly). Now, imaging you getting this accusation connected to your name, because someone is angry or jealous! No. Just no. Not funny at all. Not understandable at all.
