I mean come on, Cobra Kai is just fantastic fun. At least as an American kid who grew up in the 1970s and 80s. Im not sure if it translates worldwide? The lampooning of the McDojo culture is great. I was very pleasantly surprised at how self-aware this show is, and how enjoyable it is. And appreciate the steps they've taken to get a bit deeper into the roots of karate with some good writing.
I have seen plenty around with the merchandise. The social mediaconversations between the writers and followers does indicate an awareness of the show in conjunction with online presence.
