Does anyone remember, "Why Don't You?"... and if so, what did you make?

It was a remarkable BRITISH Childrens Television show with lots of turtles and transformers and stuff !

AHHHH happy memories of the 6 weeks holiday, now what was the art one with Morph and the caretaker?

'Take Hart' with Tony Hart (and Morph!). Ahhh, 'the Gallery', complete with 'Deerhunter' accompaniment! I think it was replaced by 'Art Attack'

 

Do you remember how it had loads of regional accents on it when the BBC were still using RP on all the other programmes. Does this mean that Hewyl and Kirsty on BBC News owe their jobs to the Why Don't You gang?

 

Why is "why dont you?" (WDY) specific to Ninjas?

and wasn't there another morph made out of lighter clay ?

 

Was who gay? Tony Hart or Morph?

 

And there was that "other" morph who was grey. Did they ever come to blows? I seem to remember there being a bit of bad blood between the two.

 

I'm really sorry for this thread, it should never have started. I was at a Christmas Party last night and should never have got on the computer afterwards...I should have 'just gone and done something else instead'....like go to bed, maybe.

and no it has nothing to do with ninjutsu except I think ninjas would be pretty handy at making things with card, glue, cotton wool and double-sided sticky tape

 

That was Chaz, they used to fight like cat and dog

 

I remember all the kids being from Belfast

"Fer this ye will need, cotton wool, some card, sticky-back plastic and a pair of scissors, so ye will"

 

No they had programs with kids from different areas, one time Belfast, one time Elgin sometimes Geordies.

 

The Geordies were funny, I could never understand a word they were saying

 

Because we all train in ninjutsu and we dont want any karate people reminising with us!!
