I think aikido would be an excellent style to cross-train in; at least for me, as I train mostly seated like this guy.

''Ole Kingston Jensen has been training in the Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Roppokai for over 20 years. Now hes a senior student of Soshi Seigo Okamoto and holds the rank of 4th Dan, despite being completely paralyzed from chest down.

His story was an inspiration for Aiki, a japanese movie about a passionate boxer who loses the meaning of his life after he is crippled in a car accident. After many fruitless attempts to find a martial arts club, he is finally accepted by a daito-ryu aiki-jujutsu master.

Directed by Daisuke Tengan (2002) ''
