Disabled student here.

    This makes me think of my Aikido, and what could be done differently for a wheelchair based person. I think a talented instructor could do something. I know my teacher has taught the Head-Injured Society here, so I know he could do it. I think he has even altered gradings for disabled people. I imagine being awarded a legitimate grade would be very rewarding thing for a disabled person.

    I had a girl enquire about my aikido traing once, and she had hand a leg problems, I told her she would have to tell me what she couldn't do, but I was more than happy to have her come and train.

    Keep Kicking!!

    I've seen the martial arts work miracles with people with various disabilities. You're an inspiration.
