Ya, I turned on my computer and saw that on Yahoo's main page and went, "What?!" Makes me want to rent "Easy Rider." Now that I think about it, I never actually saw the entire "Waterworld."
The Detroit part of the movie. Classic.... Dennis had some very memorable roles. For some reason, his cranked up photographer in Apocalypse Now also comes to mind.
Wow, I'm shocked. I didn't even realize he was sick. I really hope this next generation of actors/actress's can live up to all these great ones who are passing away. RIP Dennis Hopper, I still remember him as Bowser in Super Mario Bros. the movie, lol.
Hopper's scenes are the only ones worth watching in Waterworld ! I always really enjoyed seeing him. Crud. I was glad when he finally woke up and realized what he had wrought unto himself and got himself together.When I watch some of his older films I can't help thinking of these lines Kristofferson wrote about him- He's a prophet, He's a preacher, And a problem when he's stoned. ------------------------------------------------ So long,man.
