This is completely useless for Kickboxing. All you're doing with a guard like that is inviting punishing roundhouse kicks and push kicks to the body. Also a lot of associations do not allow you to push your hands in your opponents face unless you are feeding or striking. The best way to relieve pressure is with a solid guard (elbows tucked into the ribs and hands up on the cheeks) and good head movement and footwork (even up close). Practice and master the basic fundamentals of Kickboxing and you will succeed.
