Someone mentioned Tainted Love earlier. I still prefer the original:

One of the few Sabbath covers I like:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1LENxoZBg4"]Kyuss - Into The Void [Black Sabbath Cover] [HQ] - YouTube[/ame]

Another one not mentioned yet, which I absolutely love (his breath technique isn't the best, but his timing is spot-on - also, never seen this video before, but that looks suspiciously like George Melly in the big hat):

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEBmECsLG6s"]The Stranglers - Walk On By (Original Video - Updated Audio) - YouTube[/ame]

Here's a rare example of a band covering a band covering a band, and managing to be better than both combined! [WARNING: if you listen very hard you might hear a rude word]

I just listened to that Stranglers cover for about the 10th time in a row.

I'd forgotten how incredible it is...

Lol, you'll no doubt laugh at this but I canna help but notice that your choices of music almost always have a heavily-fuzzed, pronounced bass that is played, however, in the more sporadic, complex style of the standup bass-men of the old jazz era.

In other words you're a latent jazzophile - though there is nothing in your selections that would indicate that.

She acts as if she is in play, though she is, anyway.

    I wouldn't laugh at all!

I am far from a latent jazzophile, I'm a loud n' proud jazzophiliac!

Interested observation about the walking bass though, well spotted (heard)! :)

Guitar legend Jim McCarty and his band cover the Fleetwood Mac classic "Oh Well" with vocalist Pat Smillie. A lot of bands cover this one but I never get tired of seeing these guys do it.

Talking of Simon and Garfunkel...this has been doing the rounds lately and I think it's fantastic. A great cover because it adds to the original and stands along side it its own right.
