Perhaps my favorite action movie. What was interesting about it is that it was an interesting character study of "the bad guy". I found his training very interesting for it as well. That was very cool and would be sooooo fun! I'd forgotten about that movie. I'm not much of a Tom Cruise fan, but I do remember that I liked that movie a lot, and not only for the reason that Cruise dies.
