Chloe Bruce DVDs

    Hi Guys,

    Just wondering if anyone has seen the Chloe Bruce stretching and conditioning DVD's?

    There is no doubt the girl has skill but is she just naturally ridiculously flexible and she can just do this stuff? or does she have some actual knowledge on how to develop static active flexibility?

    Buy the DVDs if you want some good leg conditioning exercises which will train you to be able to hold your leg up in the air. However, to do that, you first need the flexibility, which Chloe obviously has got. But the stretches contained in the DVDs won't do anything for you. In simple terms, they are just regular static stretches and there is no new information on the DVDs other than "hold it for a count of x." Remember that Chloe has been training in martial arts since she was a child, and gained her flexibility at the age when it was still possible to manipulate the length of connective tissues by physically stretching them. For most adults, this will now be unsafe/impossible.

    Thanks Van Zandt,

    That's pretty much what I thought it would be. Are the conditioning exercises anything more than just slow kicks or raising and lowering the leg in an extended position?

    You hit the nail on the head with your assumption. She does, however, provide some good instructions on the correct execution of her signature moves (scorpion kick, pull over and 360 leg spin, for example).

    lol, I'm not quite at the flexibility level to need to know how to do them just yet....one day though
