But thats my point precisely... its not real, the dancer is acting... its not real training... it would only be real if the puppet master could actually make the fella dance like he is holding electric cables and not the fella dancing to show some sort of false force that he wants to make people believe exists... your other comments about push hands etc are fair and I am thinking on them...
Spot on there... it looks like the person who leaps in the air does precisely that... he leaps in the air...
Okay. I guess we will see different things with different presumtions. I know I couldn't go from lunging forward to jumping backwards with the motions he does, but that's me. Maybe one could. Anyways, I'll explain what I meant with listen. You can hear a loud 'thunk' as the master puts his foot down, and then he pushes with his leg. It sort of ripples forward.
I'd love to see this guy fight a non-resisting opponent. In the clip where three people are attacking him, you can tell it's coreographed.
I would love to be a volunter in one of those chi demonstration videos. If it worked...WOW I'm impressed If it didn't.....take down, GnP till his chi buddies pulled me off....BWHAHAHAHHAHAA Here are some more.... In the words of Sir Alan of Partridge; "lovely stuff" http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote1.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote2.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote3.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote3.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote4.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote5.wmv (BWHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHA) http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote6.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote7.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote8.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote9.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote10.wmv http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/MVC-376W.mpg Gypsim Fantastic

Hi All, Shhhhhhh - You are giving the secrets away.... A really good test to see if a 'knockout' is fake is to look at the legs - the two most often seen 'fake' responses are... 1) Cross legged seating position - as the infinitely wise Yoda notes... and 2) When the legs are STIFF and the assistants who are going to help the master bring the person back to consciousness have to work hard to bend them - Note: Unconscious muscles RELAX ... Still I do like to see this sort of stuff - it's good fun. All the best. Robert.
That is one of the funniest things Ive ever seen. Ever. Its just so pathetic. Have you posted it on Bullshido.com yet? They would love it. To quote the great master Harry Hill, its done by "the power of suggestion"
Hi All, WOW http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/taote10.wmv Personal force fields - whatever next... Many years ago I went to the Royal Albert Hall and took photographs of the people at Aaron Bank's World of Martial Arts show. There were some really good people there including Benny "The Jet" Urquidez and Ted Vollrath however there was also a man in a Gi who did the magic trick of catching a bullet in his teeth - now don't get me wrong, as a piece of magic it was splendid but it WASN'T martial arts - However compared to the nonsense on http://cadopic.free.fr/quero/ - Well I'm too amazed to comment - Do you suppose that the instructor actually believes that he is 'CHI-MAN' or whatever - or is he simply pulling a con??????? All the best. Robert.
Eh....I guy posted it there before I could Number 5 is so funny...at the start it looks like a scene from "Ghost." And I like how the master's (no doubt that's what he would call himself) chi drags the guy along the ground (or is the guy pushing himself along the ground with his feet? I couldn't tell ).
Semphoon: those clips were possibly the worst demonstration of "martial arts" I have ever seen. Apart from the fact that the performers were wearing and using martial arts gear, that was nothing more than a hypnosis show at best and a complete charade at worst. Dragging someone around on the floor with Chi? Creating a force field? I'm sure they're preparing to take up the Randi challenge as we speak with this demonstration of empty force... I'm glad I found this thread, it's given me a few more videos for my "comedy martial arts" folder
Hi All, The interesting thing is that I suspect (No proof - just an opinion based on meeting some of these people) that 50% of them are just in it for the money and 'fame' but the other 50% actually believe they can do it. Of course - they are helped by people like me who say "Scientifically that's nonsense, but..." - It's that lingering doubt because science doesn't have all of the answers yet and because most of us live in a world where the supernatural is given a lot of credibility - just think of how many people believe in god or the paranormal or psychic abilities, etc... So (for a lot of people) you can't help but think - Well maybe THIS GUY is the genuine one with those special powers and maybe he can teach me and maybe I can wear a cape and fly through the air and ... maybe it's time for my medication! All the best. Robert.
No "maybe" about it It would be great seeing this type of thing in the street though...seeing a thug being rolled about in circles by a Tai Chi master. It could become our equivalent of public beheadings. If chi existed...which it doesn't (in this form anyway) Gavin Powerbomb
for someone who actually believes in chi, they made me laugh! I don't know what did it? maybe the fact that they were all so serious or maybe because they all had to fall down cross legged. Those clips don't help you to believe in chi...
WOULD LOVE for them to get someone out of the audience to try attack him with the samurai sword. First stop emergency room. His excuse "he didnt attack me properly"
