I'm in a good mood today (I had root beer -- it always makes me happy), so I wanted to celebrating the "best" things - The best things to come here from England (as seen by an American): 1. Eric Clapton's guitar playing 2. Elton John's piano playing 3. Emma Thompson's acting 4. "Laurence of Arabia" (my dad's favorite movie by a long shot) and "Chariots of Fire" (a movie we all enjoyed greatly) 5. Newcastle Brown Ale 6. MAP -- duh!
MAP comes from England? *Hands aikiMac a motorcycle helmet and some body armour. Cooler will be along shortly with the baseball bat
Its a lot nicer on tap than out of the bottle!! Cant really agree with the Emma Thompson acting thing, she aint no Dame Judy Dench is she! Old slow hand is class and Elton can tinkle the odd ivory, but what about four weddings and a funeral, surely a much better example of a british film.
MAP is not English? I told my wife it's English. Where's it from? (Please let it be Scotland. Please let it be Scotland. Please let it be Scotland.) That too was a good movie.
It's pretty global now but originally - yes, Scotland In fact if you take the current 3 owners of MAP we have... One Scotsman living in Scotland One Englishman living in England One Englishman living in Scotland Make of that what you will
Somebody mentioned "Root Beer." Is it the same stuff that McDonalds used to sell in the UK many years ago? - I loved that stuff. Were can I get that in the UK?
You know it. Dad's, A & W, Barg's, IBC, Stewart's, ... and I'm sure there's more in the stores that I'm forgetting right now.
Want to find Root Beer in UK?? You don't need to be Canadian I assure you.... but you can buy canadian A&W root beer from the canada shop in london or visit http://www.canadashop.uk.com
