On Saturday, 12th June, Glasgow's Combat Edge Acadamy held a seminar featuring 3 MAP MOD members.... Andy: Kung Fu Elhiggito: FMA Double-Stick Louie: WMA Single-Stick The event covered the basics from the different arts and included an 'open' section allowing participants to 'bout' with each other with and without weapons. Interested in the next one Hi Louie, What a good pic, I am interested in the next one you hold, maybe I can try the Long Stick of FMA against your double handed sword and we can compare notes. Also maybe a comparison of FMA single stick and Cudgel could be a good one too. Stick V Cudgel Tell that to the large lump in the back of my head! Cheers Higg! Hi Pat, Elhiggito teaches FMA and is an instructor under Dave (Yoda) Green... We have been trying out FMA stick against the basket-hilted cudgel, whenever we can get together, sharing information, ideas and finding a lot of similarities. Today in a park in Gourock, Elhiggito suggested we fight double FMA sticks against double cudgels... We will need to start videoing these bouts Hig (a little girl came up with her dad to ask if we were the Ninja Turtles!!) Louie
