Whaaat?!! A little common sense here but if you're getting enough protein; which isn't tough on a low carb diet, your body would break down dietary protein first. This is especially true in an active individual where the body is looking to retain muscle. Ketones would only be a problem if you were dehydrated, there are plenty of people on ketogenic diets for both physique and medical reasons. If people were dropping dead all over the place it would probably have been noticed by now The article is just a bit outdated is all.
