    Hi guys,

Just wondering what everyone thought of the UK Tourny last weekend.

    For myself the highlights were:

KJN Sung Jin doing Guhm Mo Hyung
KJN's Sung Jin & Alex doing fan techniques
    KJN Hart's board breaking
Meeting up with old friends and making new ones
Seeing kids spar and have so much fun!

On the flipside I was shocked with a couple of things:

3 judges in a sparring match, telling the competitors to call the points as their eyesight was poor and that they would probably miss a load of points...which they did. I must've seen at least 4 clear points land and that student lost 3-1.

But the worst thing I seen was one DBN take a hit in the face, turn around and stick there finger up their own nose to make it bleed, which got the other person DQ'd.

That really upset me even though I didn't know any of the students!

Overall though I thought it was a great weekend. See you all next year!!

master sung jin's guhm moo hyung was the highlight for me. his jump from crossed legs, after the hwejun soo do, was awesome!!

i was also pleased that sbn's darren and carl did the staff breaks that i was holding for in the demo, i'm sooo glad they didn't hit my fingers. :)

i really enjoyed the instructors workshops and training too, although i did feel sick in the morning, nothing powerade didn't cure though! :p

and thanks to psbn matt for letting me borrow his sword for demo practise. :)

    It was a very enjoyable weekend. My personal highlights would have to be, in no particular order;

    1. Master Sun Jin Suh & Master Alex's fan techniques
    2. Master Phillip Holmes' Iron Palm techniques (did anyone else feel sorry for the black belt who was getting leathered?)
    3. Seeing my school come 2nd and recieving 2 grand champions.
    4. Seeing our DBN promote.

I didn't go but some of my friends said the judging was fairer and everyone had a really brilliant time for once! Wish I went now :(
How good was Master Sung Jins form- i saw it on my friend's videocamera and it was phenominal! Loved every part of it!

Can't seem to remember which side of the pond we are talking about.

    Ignore me. Carry on.
