Bodyweight Training Ideas Grab two baseballs and get into the push up position. On the slow down phase squeeze the baseball as hard as you can. On the up phase release the tension from the baseball and explode as fast as you can. Then repeat! This a good combination that works the grip and upperbody. On the down phase the focus is on strength and the up phase it is speed.
Hand Release Push Up: Get into the push up position. On the down phase lower your body so your chest touches the ground. Then lift your hands off the ground about a inch or so. Place them back. On the up phase go back to full extension. Then repeat! This is much harder than regular push ups. This takes away the momentum or bounce. This a sure way not to cheat yourself as well, This exercise will help increase your strength and muscular endurance faster than doing regular push ups.

Chair Dips You’ll need two chairs, (or a bed and a chair or a counter, etc…) for this great tricep exercise. Place two chairs facing each other, about 3 feet apart. Sit on one chair with your hands palm down and gripping the edge of the chair. Place your heels on the edge of the other chair and hold yourself up using your triceps. Slide forward just far enough that your behind clears the edge of the chair and lower yourself so your elbows are at 90 degrees. Do as many repetitions as you can. :weightlifter:
