So when is the new arcade going to be installed?

 

When we get round to it. Saz is busy with work and I'm busy with uni assignments so everything is on a go-slow at least until tomorrow night.

In addition to that, in the grand scheme of things Gallery and Journals come second to the forum which needs some random things fixing first.

 

What's the status with the arcade now?

I just tried to play Space Invaders for the first time....but I have a blank game. Not sure if it's my settings or if the arcade isn't up yet(?)

Is anyone else getting this or is it my PC?

 

I'll check it out on my test account in a bit. I tested every game in there before I made the Arcade live as myself, and all the settings should be ok.

 

How are the games powered? I may need to upgrade my flash or something...

I made sure I have the latest Flash - made no difference though.

Right, I've checked the permissions and arcade settings but I can't see anything thats stopping you and my test account when others with the same permissions are ok

Just installed a Java update, I'll see if that makes a difference.

EDIT: Nope, no difference.

 

I can't use it either, although it was working fine a couple of days ago.

For future reference, all I did was re-upload the game files as Binary instead of "auto" on the ftp.

Nope, just how it sent the data - my software will send either as ASCII or binary, or it will make its own mind up. This time its own mind was wrong!

Now I just have to figure out how to add games to this bloody thing!
