Does anyone know of this school in Manchester? They are listed here as an Eagle Claw school (http://www.martialhub.com/chinese_external/chinese_kungfu.html) but I have no idea if that is accurate.
They are a very traditional school. I thought they were a family method of Hung Gar and some form of Southern Mantis, I have never heard of Eagle Claw there. I was friends with a couple of students and visited a few times about a decade ago - so things may have changed. They seemed good, with an emphasis on basic conditioning. The teaching was a little hap hazard (Ie senior student often took classes and had differing approaches). Master Chu must be very old by now, so if he is still teaching that is a good sign. Definately one of the better Manchester Kung Fu schools. Best Chris
